Genomic Database Workshop, May 2012

We invite you to register for a two and half day workshop designed to provide you with training in effective use of several online resources relevant for Plasmodium research.  These resources include, GeneDB, EuPathDB resources such as PlasmoDB and VectorBase.

The goal of this workshop is to familiarize you with tools and functionalities available through GeneDB, PlasmoDB and VectoBase.  New tools and datasets will be highlighted.  In addition, we will cover basic analysis, integration and visualization of RNA-sequence data. The workshop will be a hands-on experience with attendees working through exercises using these resources. 

The workshop will be held just before the start of the annual BioMalPar meeting starting at 9:00 AM on Saturday May 12th and running through the morning of Monday May 14th.
